The Villa is in an enviable position in the heart of the Tuscan countryside
on the Strade del Vino Nobile or wine roads connecting such famous towns as
Pienza and Montepulciano with Cortona and Castiglione del Lago.
From the top of a hill, the magnificent podere or farmhouse dominates a
vineyard Valley at whose end towers and bell towers of the Politian town
rise like lighthouses.
The Villa is surrounded by vineyards and plantings
allowing our guest to enjoy, in privacy, the peacefulness of the area.
The farmhouse has been restored according to tradition but without
abandoning the idea of comfort.
The result is a spot of paradise with seven
spacious double-bedrooms, one of which is equiped for disabled people).
Breakfast is served in a bright and comfortable large hall, in which, by
request, it would be possible to taste celebrated Tuscan dishes.
Thanks to
the agreement with the restaurants of the area, this service is available at
reasonable prices.
Furthermore, the large hall provides our guests with an
opportunity to relax with a good book or a glass of wine.
The Villa also has swimming pool with hydro-massage, barbecue and internet
access.
Finally, depending on the season, one can enjoy the blooming sunflowers,
the grape harvest, have a walk or relax by the swimming pool.
During the
Summer, one can also take part to many cultural and gastronomic tours to
the neighbouring medieval villages, oil mills and vineries.
